Parzifal
Alrighty. Tank ordered, stand on its way, now time to figure out what to paint it. Its a metal stand and im a little concerned about rust. Any ideas for a paint brand or experience painting metal frames for aquariums? Michael7979
If money isn't an option. I'd look into having it powder-coated. But if it is give it a good cleaning and use some Krylon rattle cans. With a little time and effort it should look real nice. Cheap too! orion
I have been in the steel fab industry for 5 years here is what I would suggest in oder of cost Powder coating (Might not be the most expensive I know a few people I might be able to get you a deal) An A-B zinc epoxy coating (I use Rodda paint) amazing corrosion resistance An A-B epoxy (I use Rodda paint) Or you could use Barrier 3 rust inhibitor primer also available at Rodda paint, then use a top coat they have a lot available. newfisher
Powder coat for sure, they even have textures if you like. By the time you buy the materials I will bet having it powder coated will only be a few bucks more.
