Guest Snorkelwasp Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 I just took the sandbed in one of my tanks and replaced it with a thinner one...so my auger snail as to go...he needs a mature DSB for optimal health and will keep it stirred up nicely...not too common i dont think... approx 4-5inch....but in 3in sandbed...like mine was...you wont ever even see it unless you try... Oh yah and I found this crazy cool PDF about them when I was trying to figure out if they had a poison gland like some of their close relatives(fortunately it looks like its safe). Thanks!
