rscovi6374
Can anyone identify the green tentacled, hot pink centered soft coral in the center of this picture? Any ideas. Looks like some sort of anemone. Thanks, Rick
ThePremiumAquarium
It is called a Majano anemone and in general they are considered a pest much like an aptasia. If possible I would probably remove it. Some people keep them isolated on a rock by themselves as they really can be quite beautiful! Welcome to the site! COReefer
yeah they are very pretty. I had a couple and had to zap them. I didn't like doing it.
rscovi6374
Thanks Hey Thanks for the reply. I am a bit surprised considering it is not stinging the surrounding zoanthids. If it starts to be a pest, I will zap it. Thanks again. Rick

Cannedmulder
Better to zap it now than to have it spawn and have them all over your tank causing problems! Just a thought!
racefan
I have one of these in my green star polyps. What is best to zap it with?
CA2OR
I use that Aptasia control works wonders. Melts them away in seconds
