MedRed
Welcome! I'm a newbie too. You're moving way faster than I'd have the courage to for sure.
andy
Welcome. You might think about getting that undergravel filter out of there before the tank gets too established.

dsoz
Welcome. I saw an advertisement for Davy Jones Locker (one of our sponsors) that said he has live rock. I don't know the price. It is worth calling and going out to Troutdale/Gresham. Also The Fish Tank people has rock, both natural and manufactured for $4/lb. Give them a call. http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=12380 Welcome to the forum. Let me know when your tank stables out, I usually give some starter corals to newbies. That way you have something to look at. You just have to come to Oregon City to get them. dsoz

reefboy
yep you need to get rid of the under gravel eventually it will cause you major problems as it traps detritus and will release nitrate, other then that things looking good just take your time and be patient. wanareef
I agree on the UG filter - not even good for FreshWater IMO. You might to start thinking about more light, down the road.
CA2OR
+1 on the light and +3 (I believe) on the UG filter. I had some very bad experiences with them in my cichlid tank. Wont even try in SW tank.
reef165
I agree with the under gravel filter as well, unless you use it as a plenum like how Seahorse sets his tanks up. He seems to have good luck with it. I am partial to BB or very little sand.
