But this just has amazing colors http://www.aquaticauction.com/iSynApp/auctionDisplay.action?sid=151&auctionId=43663 I think more people feel that it is amazing than just us because it has a price tag of over $1700 right now! Randy-S
But only $10 bucks to ship that makes it a deal!
JasonH
wow... wow... wow. That is amazing. The price tag is even more impressive. Now watch, some schlub will pay 2 grand for that and then they will start pouring in from Australia looking just like that (okay, probably not). Michael7979
It looks fake. Just can't believe those colors. But I know it isn't.
spectra
One swee looking scoly but the price ouch! I think you could get alot of premium corals for the money and be better off. I have seen a few really nice scolys for alot cheaper than that one.

coralreefaquarist
Oh. it is real....NO DOUBT' date=' but its not quite the colors you see in the photo. It will be more dull in your or my tanks....[/quote'] neither you or i can say that. its entirely possible either way. the first 2 photos are prob what it appears like to the naked eye. but the 3rd photo with what appears to be over saturated and have much more color than possible. could just be that its a crazy super macro shot.i can take super macros of corals and you would never imagine that coral had the colors or intense luminescence that it actually does, just because you cant see it with the naked eye. anyone could start saying the same things about corals pictured on your site or any site for that mater. its just one of those things you don't for sure know, so i wouldn't say. downhill_biker
and it could die in shipping. way too much to spend on ANY coral.
JasonH
not taking sides on this one, but in their defense they do specifically call out the 3rd pic as an actinic shot

albertareef
That thing is insane... Where is Dennis? Perhaps he could try his hand at surgically fragging this puppy! (clap) Lets see, if you could carve it into ten pieces then those ten into ten more... (naughty)
Ocean In a Box
I know a photo shopped coral when I see one. But It's just my .02 cents. Doesnt matter anyways!!! Also just so you know this website does not have enough market share to warrant several bidders paying that kind of money. I could see if it were a coral website that had 100's or 1000's of pieces of corals up for sell, but to just have around 10 pieces....When your in the business you typically know whos who and whos doing what. It's a small community overall. nuff said!
drunkreefer
who cares if its real or not!!!!!! Im offering my clown hair frag that is real and is not photo shopped! its only half the price
